How much Sculptra Aesthetic do I need?
Prior to Sculptra treatment at Medical First New York, we will discuss your concerns and provide you with a treatment plan. If we determine Sculptra therapy is right for you, the recommended number of vials and sessions will be provided. During a single session, 1-2 vials of Sculptra are injected. The average number of vials for complete treatment of Sculptra is 3-6 vials.

How long do results last with Sculptra Aesthetic treatment?
Sculptra Aesthetic works gradually to stimulate new healthy collagen. The ingredient, poly-l-lactic acid does not remain in your body, as it is made to dissolve and pass through your system. Results of treatment begin to show following the second session, or 3 months following the start of your treatment. Continued improvement and optimal results show within a few months and last 2+ years.

Do I need Sculptra Aesthetic treatment every 2 years?
Most patients will return to have additional treatment sometime after 2 years, however much less Sculptra may be needed to maintain results created from original therapy sessions. Sculptra (as well as all cosmetic treatments and procedures) does not stop the aging process. It is best to maintain your results as you feel necessary.

How is Sculptra Aesthetic treatment accomplished?
